Theodor Kehler & Anton Kehler

FAERELLI was founded by Theodor and Anton, driven by the desire to restore a forgotten gemstone icon to its rightful place in luxury: the opal.

Together we combine Italian inspiration, international craftsmanship and the courage to redefine beauty.
What connects us is more than a family bond; it is a shared vision of authenticity, depth, and expression.

Our creations bear the marks of our travels: from Australian mines to Italian studios, from Dubai to Hong Kong. But the core always remains the same:

The idea

2020

Inspired by the film Uncut Gems , two brothers discover the raw power of the opal. From this fascination arises the first spark of FAERELLI – a vision of true luxury that is not feigned, but felt.

The first steps

2021

The world of opals opens up. Theodor and Anton begin cutting opals themselves, selling their first pieces, and establishing contacts with miners in Australia. Everything is done through pure self-initiative, without a budget, but with absolute determination.

The first shop

2022

FAERELLI enters the scene. The brothers open their first online shop, expand their network, and reach their first 1,000 customers. The brand takes shape, still small, but with a powerful spark.

International breakthrough

2023

The journey begins. Trips to Australia, Hong Kong, Italy, and Dubai provide access to the world's finest mines, cutting workshops, and manufacturers. FAERELLI has perfected what others have failed to achieve: unique opals produced in repeatable series without losing their natural identity.

The fire moment

2024

The brand is maturing. FAERELLI establishes partnerships in Santa Barbara, Palo Alto, Berlin, Dubai, and Singapore. The Solaris collection is created, the world's first collection featuring genuine, round opal spheres. Media, high-jewelry customers, and collectors take notice.

The year of expansion

2025

FAERELLI is going global. Waldorf Astoria Berlin, Elle, international jewelers, and over 2,500 customers: the brand is gaining momentum. The USA, Middle East, and Asia are becoming key growth markets. The vision is becoming tangible: the world's first global high-jewelry opal brand.

2026/2027

THE FUTURE OF THE HOUSE

Immersive Luxury

With the exclusive Apple Vision Pro team from Palo Alto, FAERELLI is developing the world's first high-jewelry experience that takes customers directly to the opal mines of Australia—an immersive journey through light, color, and origin. A luxury moment that no other brand offers and that, for the first time, makes the opal tangible as an experience.

International Expansion

With new concept stores in Los Angeles, Dubai, Singapore and Doha, FAERELLI is making its mark worldwide: minimalist Italian architecture, immersive light installations and curated high-jewelry spaces transform each store into an experience – not a shop.

High Jewelry & Collector

Limited edition high-jewelry masterpieces, rare museum exhibits from Lightning Ridge and exclusive opal editions for international collectors, precious rarities that are not only coveted but are becoming cultural symbols of a new opal era.

FAERELLI Foundation

FAERELLI is establishing its own foundation to support environmental projects, reforestation, and local mining communities. This initiative connects responsibility, heritage, and the future, demonstrating that true luxury also means impact.

At the heart of the Dubai Mall, an iconic FAERELLI space is being created: golden accents, immersive lighting, and masterful opal jewelry craftsmanship. A place where art, luxury, and modernity merge into one experience.
