In one of hundreds of mines near Coober Pedy, South Australia, this white opal was uncovered after 16 million years of formation—hidden within the rock, protected by the depths of the earth. For the first time, it was exposed to light. For the first time, its inner fire became visible.
Fine-tuning in the metropolis
The transformation began under state-of-the-art equipment in Hong Kong. Underwater, millimeter by millimeter, its colors were revealed—an iridescent play of light and depth. Each layer brought it closer to its final form.
